Successful 6th Annual Public ETP Conference on 31th March-1st April 2011 Brussels

This year's conference entitled “Societal Challenges—Textile Solutions” showcased how innovative and to the general public often completely unknown textile-based products help finding solutions to major societal needs such as energy supply & efficiency, food & water supply & safety, affordable healthcare, sustainable cities & mobility etc. In addition the Technology Platform's positions on the future EU research, innovation and education policies and programmes as well as the achievements of collaborations with other European Technology Platforms were presented.
