Public consultation open until 20 May 2011
On 9th February 2011, the European Commission presented a Green Paper which proposes major changes to EU research and innovation funding to make participation easier, increase scientific and economic impact and provide better value for money. The changes, to be introduced in the next EU budget after 2013, would bring together the current Framework Programme for research, the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology. Present your project ideas - find project partners - obtain recommendations from EC officials
The European Textile Technology Platform organises two project brokerage events for the textile-related FP7 workprogramme topics of the 2011 calls of FP7 (to be published in late July). EC officials in charge of the specific topics will present the technical details and provide recommendations. Project ideas submitted in response to the TEPPIES call will be presented in short flash presentations.
The first ERA-Net programme dedicated to textile research, the CrossTexNet project, is scheduled to launch its first call for project proposals on 30th April 2010. 17 national and regional research funding programmes from 11 European countries participate in this project and the majority of them are expected to provide funding for the first call. All necessary details will be provided on the CrossTexNet website: www.crosstexnet.eu during the second half of April.
