Permanent networking through digital technologies was an important topic of the 3rd BMBF Future Conference "Bringing technology to people" on the 26th  – 27th  June 2017.

The interdisciplinary junior research group SozioTex presented their research results for the design of socio-technical systems for an aging workforce in the textile industry: How is human-machine interaction at a weaving machine possible?

A digital assistance system for the operation of weaving machines on a tablet app showed together with a band loom how human-oriented industry 4.0-production could look like in weaving industry.
The BMBF Future Conference was a success for the junior research group because of its exchange of information with different target groups, expanding of scientific networking and gaining of new impetus for the following research work.
