Stakeholders
The major stakeholders of the European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing are the European textile and clothing industry and its research community mainly composed of public and private research institutes and university research departments.
The various working groups of the platform also seek active involvement of experts from related industrial sectors and scientific disciplines who will contribute with knowledge about scientific-technological advances that can be transferred to textiles (innovation enablers) or with knowledge about industrial requirements and innovation needs that can be met through transfer from the textile domain (innovation customers).
Active participation in the Technology Platform is possible for all individuals or organisations that can demonstrate interest, competences and expertise to meaningfully contribute to the activities of the Technology Platform and which are based in the EU or any country associated to the EU's current Research Framework Programme. Participation of Non-European entities will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Technology Platform’s Governing Council.
