Successful Textile Flagship 1 Symposium On Textile Recycling At Saxion UAS
On 21 November 2019, a Textile Flagship 1 (Sustainable textile materials) symposium has been organised by Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Enschede, the Netherlands. This high-quality symposium with some 50 participants from 12 countries was dedicated to the latest developments in mechanical and chemical post-consumer textile recycling, with speakers from companies, research organisations, Dutch national and European projects, and initiatives.
On the same subject as the TFE1 workshop, the European Environmental Agency EEA just published a very detailed, well-researched report about the role of Textiles in the EU Circular Economy.
