Textile ETP at VERDEinMED final event
On 13 March 2026, Textile ETP Sustainability Programmes Manager Tilla Kross took the stage at the VERDEinMED final event in Thessaloniki, Greece, bringing together key stakeholders from across the textile and sustainability landscape. During her presentation, she highlighted the ongoing work within the ECOSYSTEX and outlined the core objectives of the PESCO-UP project.
The event served as a platform to showcase VERDEinMED’s main activities and achievements over the course of the project. Attendees were given insight into the programme’s efforts to support SMEs, promote sustainable production methods, and encourage the adoption of greener business models within the textile sector. Through pilot actions, mentoring schemes, and targeted support, the project has contributed to enhancing competitiveness while aligning with broader environmental goals.
A key highlight of the conference was the inclusion of two roundtable discussions, which brought together external experts, industry representatives, and project participants. These sessions, highlighting results and impacts and synergies across the textile value chain, offered valuable perspectives from those who have directly benefited from VERDEinMED’s initiatives, including textile companies and project mentors. Participants shared real-world experiences, discussed challenges faced during implementation, and explored opportunities for scaling sustainable practices across the industry.
