The Textile ETP, in partnership with Titera, AEI Tèxtils, CeNTi, and IVGT, proudly announces the evolution of the SmartX Community into the SmartX Innovation Hub. The Hub follows the conclusion of the SmartX Europe project, a Horizon2020 initiative dedicated to boosting e-textiles and wearables into the market.

On 28 November, in a collaborative effort to drive sustainability and circularity in the European textile industry, ECOSYSTEX and CISUTAC were presented at the first workshop of WhiteCycle, hosted at Michelin's R&D facilities in Clermont-Ferrand, France.

On 14-16 November, the E-Textiles Conference in Ghent gathered industry leaders, and SmartX Community Manager and Textile ETP Project Manager Judith Bosch attended the 2-day event and moderated a panel.

The Textile ETP, in partnership with STFI, RISE, Centexbel, Centrocot, and CETI, proudly announces the launch of the Circular & Biobased Textiles Innovation Hub. This initiative is poised to be a central hub for textile companies, research organisations, brands, and retailers to converge, learn, network, and collaborate on the pressing issues of circular and biobased textiles.

On 14 November, Textile ETP convened its Board Meeting n Brussels to discuss the organisation's progress, future plans, and important decisions for the upcoming year.

The ECOSYSTEX Conference, held in Barcelona, Spain on 19-20 October 2023, brought together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to bridge EU-funded textile research and sustainable textile practices. The event connected over 100 participants from 16 European countries.

On 11 October, Textile ETP Secretary General Lutz Walter was invited to speak at the 2023 event of SDA Bocconi's Monitor for Circular Fashion in Milan, Italy. In the session 'Winning the Battle for Waste Resources,' he highlighted critical issues within the European textile industry and the urgent need for circular fashion initiatives.
