On 15 October 2025, our Sustainability Programmes Officer, Tilla Kross, represented Textile ETP at the TexirC Project seminar day in Espoo, Finland. Tilla presented Textile ETP’s work on sustainability, highlighting EU funding opportunities that support circularity in textiles, our Circular & Biobased Textiles Innovation Hub, and how Textile ETP is driving collaboration through ECOSYSTEX.

The third ECOSYSTEX Conference took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 29 September to 1 October 2025, in partnership with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. This year’s edition was organised in collaboration with six EU-funded projects offering a dynamic platform for discussion and experimentation around textile circularity.

The 19th edition of the Textile ETP Annual Conference took place in Alcoy, Spain, welcoming over 260 professionals spanning the entire textile value chain. Against a backdrop of rapidly evolving regulatory frameworks, technological advances, and mounting environmental pressures, our conference offered a vital platform for strategic reflection, open dialogue, and collaboration.

Approaching the end of the first year of the Circular & Biobased Textiles Innovation Hub, Textile ETP created a summary of the topics targeted in our different webinars and the speakers who brought this content to us, our physical meet-ups and networking opportunities where Hub members had a chance to meet in person.

The ECOSYSTEX Conference, held in Milan, Italy on 15-16 October 2024, brought together leading researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to foster collaboration between EU-funded textile research and sustainable textile practices. The event attracted over 120 in-person attendees and more than 100 virtual participants from across Europe.

On 30 September 2024, our Community Manager Kamilla Drubina had a chance to speak at the Sustainable Textile Forum in Budapest. Kamilla discussed the latest developments in textile sustainability at the European level, and highlighted Textile ETP's activities supporting the sustainable transformation of the EU textile sector.

On 18-19 September 2024, Textile ETP’s Sustainability Programmes Officer Tilla Kross and Community Manager Kamilla Drubina represented the organisation at the Circular Textile Days in the Netherlands.
