The fourth ECOSYSTEX Conference will take place as a physical event from 22 to 24 September 2026 in Antwerp, Belgium in partnership with the University of Antwerp. This event will bring together experts, innovators, and industry leaders to explore the theme of circular textiles beyond recycling.

To provide our members with first-hand insights into cutting-edge research, technologies, and sustainable innovations, we launched ‘Textile ETP on Tour’, an exclusive members-only initiative designed to showcase pioneering developments in textile science and technology. For the fifth edition on 28 May 2026, we visited Enschede, in the Netherlands, a town that was one of the largest textile producing cities in Europe until the late 1960s.

The 20th edition of the Textile ETP Annual Conference took place in Amsterdam, Netherlands, welcoming over 150 professionals from the entire textile value chain. Against a backdrop of accelerating digitalisation, evolving European policy, and mounting pressure to demonstrate environmental progress, the conference offered a platform for strategic reflection, open dialogue, and collaboration.

For the fourth edition on 23-24 March 2026, we visited the Lombardy region, in Italy, a premier European hub for technical textiles, blending 150 years of industrial tradition with advanced research in materials and sustainability.

Registrations for the 20th Textile ETP Annual Conference 2026, taking place on 26-28 May in Amsterdam and hosted by the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, are now open! This year, the conference will focus on the digital transformation of the European textile and apparel industry, a pivotal topic shaping the future of the sector.

Textile ETP will be present every day at Techtextil and Texprocess at Booth F33 in Hall 12.1 (Techtextil side), and wil organise thematic tours for our Innovation Hubs' subscribers on 21-24 April 2026.

For the third edition on 1 October 2025, we visited Borås, in Sweden, a city renowned for its rich textile heritage and innovation in textiles.

The third ECOSYSTEX Conference took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from 29 September to 1 October 2025, in partnership with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. This year’s edition was organised in collaboration with six EU-funded projects offering a dynamic platform for discussion and experimentation around textile circularity.

On 10-12 September 2025, Textile ETP was represented at the Dornbirn GFC 2025 by our President, Marina Crnoja-Cosic, and Secretary General, Lutz Walter. The Dornbirn GFC is one of the most renowned international conferences for the fiber and textile industry, gathering leading experts, researchers, and industry players to discuss the latest technological developments, sustainability strategies, and market opportunities.

The third ECOSYSTEX Conference will take place as a physical event on 29 September-1 October in Gothenburg, Sweden, in partnership with RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. This event will bring together experts, innovators, and industry leaders to explore new technologies and business models for textile circularity.
