In late February and early March 2025, Textile ETP actively participated in two significant industry events: LOPEC 2025 in Munich and JEC World 2025 in Paris. These events showcased the latest advancements in printed electronics and composite materials, respectively, highlighting the growing integration of textiles with cutting-edge technologies.

Save the date for the 3rd ECOSYSTEX Conference 2025, taking place from 29 September to 1 October in Gothenburg, Sweden. This event will bring together experts, innovators, and industry leaders to explore new technologies and business models for textile circularity.

On 17 February 2025, our Secretary General Lutz Walter participated in the event "Navigating Change - ESG Roadmaps to Circular Fashion" organised by the Monitor of Circular Fashion (MACF) of SDA Bocconi.

The 19th Textile ETP Annual Conference will be organised in partnership with AITEX and will place as a physical event on 12-14 May 2025 in their facilities in Alcoy, Spain. We welcome our members as well as other professionals from all over Europe interested in sustainable textile innovation and EU research funding opportunities.

On 5 February 2025, Textile ETP Secretary General Lutz Walter participated in the ‘Decoding the DPP’ event hosted by Lectra at the Textile Fashion Center in Borås, Sweden. The event gathered industry leaders and experts to discuss the expected introduction of the Digital Product Passport (DPP) for EU clothing products by 2028 and the significant data management challenges that will arise.

Textile ETP announces the launch of a new initiative, “Textile ETP on Tour,” designed to provide a unique opportunity for Textile ETP members to explore hubs of textile innovation, fostering connections, collaboration, and knowledge exchange within the industry.

The Textile ETP, in partnership with TrusTrace, SmartexAI, ITA Academy, CITEVE, Finnish Textile & Fashion and EURATEX, proudly announces the launch of the DigitX Innovation Hub. This initiative is poised to be a central hub for textile companies, research organisations, brands, and retailers to converge, learn, network, and collaborate on the key topics related to the digitalisation of the textile sector.

Approaching the end of the first year of the SmartX Innovation Hub, Textile ETP created a summary of the topics targeted in our different webinars and the speakers who brought this content to us, our physical meet-ups and networking opportunities where Hub members had a chance to meet in person.
