Community Talks #11: Building a circular textile value chain: Portugal GreenTex Hub
On 13 March 2025, for the eleventh edition of the RegioGreenTex Community Talks webinar series, we hosted a webinar presenting the Portugal GreenTex Hub: "Building a circular textile value chain: Portugal GreenTex Hub".
In this webinar, we discovered the Portugal Hub, from the projects developed by the local RegioGreenTex SMEs, the expertise of the partners, and the opportunities for collaboration, to the importance for the region to build a circular textile value chain. Our main speakers from the two Portuguese RegioGreenTex SMEs, Miguel Silva from SASIA, and Pedro Magalhães from TINTEX, presented their projects developed within the hub, whereas Raquel Meira from CCDR-NORTE and Maria José Carvalho from Portuguese Textile Cluster will presented the policy approach to textile circularity, both from European and regional perspectives. The webinar was introduced and moderated by the Portugal Hub Leader Tiago Pinto from CITEVE.

About the RegioGreenTex Community Talks
Online animation activities play a pivotal role in sustaining the engagement of SMEs within the digital ecosystem. To stimulate interaction, a series of intra-consortium webinars, the RegioGreenTex Community Talks, are taking place throughout the duration of the project. The RegioGreenTex Talks promote the latest progresses and results of the projects, and well as encouraging dialogue and knowledge sharing in the textile sector, focusing on sustainability and the green transition.
The RegioGreenTex Community Talks are organised as part of WP2 (T2.4 Animation of the Ecosystem) and managed by Textile ETP, with the support of EURATEX, NE RDA, Ariadne Innovation, OOST NL and Techtera.
