Community Talks #6: Building value chains for mixed textile waste with the RegioGreenTex Lowlands Hub

On 27 June 2024, for the sixth edition of the RegioGreenTex Community Talks webinar series, we hosted a webinar presenting the Lowlands RegioGreenTex Hub: "Building value chains for mixed textile waste with the RegioGreenTex Lowlands Hub".

In this webinar, we discoveredthe Lowlands Hub, from the regional value chain projects, the expertise of the partners, and the opportunities for collaboration, to the importance of the 3 involved regions in building circular textile value chain. Our main speakers, Cédric Auplat from Peignage Dumortier, Jan Merckx from Ecoso and Soraya Wancour from Quest showcased their companies and RegioGreenTex project's objectives and progress, whereas Wouter Dujardin from Ovam, Guy Buyle from Centexbel, Karolien De Bruine from Oost NL and Stephan Vérin from Euramaterials presented the textile policy in their respective regions (Flanders, East Netherlands, and Hauts-de-France). The webinar was introduced and moderated by the Lowlands Hub Leader, Florence Lootens, from Ariadne Innovation.

About the RegioGreenTex Community Talks
Online animation activities play a pivotal role in sustaining the engagement of SMEs within the digital ecosystem. To stimulate interaction, a series of intra-consortium webinars, the RegioGreenTex Community Talks, are taking place throughout the duration of the project. The RegioGreenTex Talks promote the latest progresses and results of the projects, and well as encouraging dialogue and knowledge sharing in the textile sector, focusing on sustainability and the green transition.
The RegioGreenTex Community Talks are organised as part of WP2 (T2.4 Animation of the Ecosystem) and managed by Textile ETP, with the support of EURATEX, NL RDA, Ariadne Innovation, OOST NL and Techtera.
