Community Talks #7: From zero-waste to numberless possibilities: North-East Romania’s Hub for circular textiles

On 26 September 2024, for the seventh edition of the RegioGreenTex Community Talks webinar series, we hosted a webinar presenting the North-East Romania RegioGreenTex Hub: "From zero-waste to numberless possibilities: North-East Romania’s Hub for circular textiles".

In this webinar, we discovered the North-East Romania Hub, from the association of the pilots developed by the two Romanian RegioGreenTex SMEs, the expertise of the partners, and the opportunities for collaboration, to the importance of the region in building circular textile value chain. Our main speakers from the two Romanian RegioGreenTex SMEs, Mai Bine and Katty Fashion, presented their pilot projects developed within the hub, whereas Gabriela Macoveiu from the North-East Regional Development Agency presented the policy approach to circular textiles, both from European and regional perspectives. The webinar was introduced and moderated by the North-East Romania Hub Leader, Agatha Filimon from the North-East Regional Development Agency.

If you could not join us for this event or if you want to watch it again, the recording and presentations are available here:

About the RegioGreenTex Community Talks
Online animation activities play a pivotal role in sustaining the engagement of SMEs within the digital ecosystem. To stimulate interaction, a series of intra-consortium webinars, the RegioGreenTex Community Talks, are taking place throughout the duration of the project. The RegioGreenTex Talks promote the latest progresses and results of the projects, and well as encouraging dialogue and knowledge sharing in the textile sector, focusing on sustainability and the green transition.
The RegioGreenTex Community Talks are organised as part of WP2 (T2.4 Animation of the Ecosystem) and managed by Textile ETP, with the support of EURATEX, NL RDA, Ariadne Innovation, OOST NL and Techtera.
